This dual tribute paid homage to the indomitable spirit of Rani Laxmi Bai on Balidan Diwas while also honouring the unwavering dedication of our present-day female Security and Central Housekeeping Staff (CHS) members. Taking place at the dignified Senate Hall on June 18, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the event was graced by the esteemed presence of DSP Annu Kumari, who adorned the occasion as the guest of honour. Her aura mirrored the resolute ethos of courage and commitment.
Asian Parliamentary Debate
The Indian Institute of Technology, Patna orchestrated a captivating oratory event, drawing enthusiastic student participation. Titled "India: A Tapestry of Philosophical Traditions," the Asian Parliamentary Debate (APD) aimed to dissect Indian culture and society from diverse angles, fostering critical thinking and layered perspectives. The competition prompted participants to transcend conventional boundaries and explore India's spiritual consciousness juxtaposed with the West's materialistic influence.
International Yoga Day
In a harmonious collaboration with the Wellness Center and Students' Welfare Board, our institute embraced the essence of well-being on June 21, 2023, to commemorate International Yoga Day. The day commenced at 5 A.M. yoga session, drawing over 350 enthusiastic participants who wholeheartedly embraced the teachings of yoga. On August 5, 2023, Patna Junction witnessed a captivating street play organised by Indian Institute of Technology Patna students. This insightful performance was a part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative. The play illuminated prevailing societal issues—corruption, sexual violence, discrimination (gender, caste, religion), and dowry. Each act presented the consequences of these problems, provoking introspection among the audience. It earned accolades from figures like Station Director Shri Raju Kumar, recognizing its power to address crucial issues and ignite change.

IIT Patna's Cyclothon event, held on August 15 at 6:30 AM, was a vibrant part of the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" campaign. Spanning 5-6 km, the event promoted healthier living, sustainable transportation, and cultural integration. Participants, including students, faculty, staff, and locals, cycled through a route adorned with cultural stalls, banners, and performances, celebrating India's diverse heritage. Safety and traffic rules were strictly followed, ensuring a seamless experience.
